I find it hard to believe that this actually exists, even after having seen it with my own eyes. Way back in 1993, the Wu-Tang Clan did a commercial for Nintendo to promote the release of the Super Game Boy, which was a really lame device that allowed you to "colorize" game boy games by inserting them into your SNES. I have no clue as to how this came about-- I wouldn't think that the higher-ups at Nintendo would've had any clue as to who the Wu-Tang Clan were at this time, so I can't imagine how this relationship came to fruition, but it did. The commercial itself isn't all that good, so I can see why they shelved it, but it's still crazy as hell:
Yes, that actually happened...

BDP vs. The Avalanches - Love's Gonna Get'cha, Frontier Psychiatrist!
As hip-hop songs go, Love's Gonna Get'cha by KRS-1's Boogie Down Productions is about as classic and dope as you can get. I actually made this mashup back in 2002, before anyone called anything a mashup. I remember exactly where I was when I heard The Avalanches' Frontier Psychiatrist for the first time-- driving down Fairfax Blvd. in Los Angeles, passing by a Jack In The Box just below 3rd St. Not sure why, but that image always sticks in my head. It came on KCRW, and when the beat dropped about 30 seconds in, all I could think about was how well this song would fit with Love's Gonna Get'cha. And you know what? It does.
